Quality without Tears, Philip B.Crossby

Quality Management Guru Phil Crossby expounds in this book his four absolutes of Quality
  1. The DEFINITION of Quality is conformance to requirements
  2. The SYSTEM of Quality is Prevention
  3. The PERFORMANCE STANDARD is Zero Defects
  4. The MEASUREMENT of Quality is the price of nonconformance
Drawing instances from his own personal life, Crossby explains in a simple and logical manner the necessity of Management determination, education of all employees, his four absolutes of quality and Implementation aspects.

Circle of Innovation, Tom Peters

Tom Peters the leading Management Guru has expounded his ideas in this very well presented book. Infact he uses the same presentation style used in his seminars.

Its very nice. He makes mockery of some of the principles DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME, etc (many of which are proponded by the Quality Guru Phil Crossby). I would like to point out both are right in different frames of reference. Tom Peters is right in the Transformation frame of Reference and Phil Crossby is right in the Transactional frame of Reference.

Rating for this book : ****
